We didn’t manage to get our shit together to make a video for ‘Billionaires’ (out now on Neon Gold!) so I made my first ‘vlog’. It only took a day or so to shoot, I had a lot of fun and I invented a new cocktail in the process. It’s Pernod and Cassis shaken with ice and drunk as a shot. I call it the Billionaire Loser.

so we went to Paris for the DURRR clubnite - the XX and Micachu played too. Micachu is just getting more and more incredible. G taught R how to ‘palm’ from the breakfast buffet. it’s all about transferable skills here at YTs

We played in Bristol on Sunday at my friend Katie’s night. I had max hayfever and we shared a bottle of wine. All our equipment hated us but it was fun, in between songs I would turn round and James and Robin would be sharing a conversation, a glass of wine and reading the papers. It was a lovely Sunday feeling

this is the morning after the final show, at king tuts in glasgow. minutes previously we had eaten a breakfast that included fried potato pancakes, hash brown, and for the carnivores of the band, black pudding and two types of sausage. it fortified us for our twelve hour drive back to london

the tour was our first to include camping. it was city camping - in our friends sam and ellie’s garden in chorlton, manchester. robin and i felt about ten years old. once we got in there we laughed hysterically for about fifteen minutes, then passed out.

life is sweet. were halfway through our first proper tour. were supporting our friends metronomy and were having a good time. yesterday we did a radio session and two shows, watched four episodes of friends and ate a massive meal. this is us in a field near norwich, our friend owen was taking pictures of us. were going to newcastle tomorrow.
